Custom Ordering

Please note that I  custom make only boxes similar to the boxes on my site. The largest size  box I will make is 12"X 8" X 6." Also I am no longer making boxes with hidden hinges as this process is too inaccurate and time consuming.

When custom ordering you will need to select the type and indicate the size of box  you wish made.  You will also need to indicate the woods you wish for the top and sides of the box, whether you want the box  to be lined or unlined, whether you want an interior shelf, and whether you want the top hinged or unhinged as well as the placement of the hinges. The top and lining of the box can be made of more then one type of wood Please see the Information page regarding wood types, hinges, lining,  and interior shelf. The standard size for a Two Deck Playing Card Box is approximately 4"x 6" x 1.5". Jewelry Boxes made of wood other than Red Oak are generally 6 to 8 inches wide, 6 to 12 inches long and 3 to 4.5 inches deep.  Boxes with Red Oak sides are made in the same widths and lengths but come in depths of 2.5, 3.5,  and 4 inches. Cigar Humidors can be special ordered with or without hydrometer and humidifier and may also be ordered with special brass stop hinges.  Special order humidors will take longer to make due to having to special order hardware which is not kept in stock.  You may order  custom boxes by contacting me by phone or e-mail (see Purchasing page).  Prices for custom boxes are generally similar to the prices for the pre-made boxes on the Current Inventory page, and vary according to the complexity and amount of materials used in making the box.  Special orders may resulting in a slightly longer completion time if I have to order additional wood to complete the box. Shipping and handling  cost will be added to the basic price of the box.  Please see Purchasing page for ordering. Custom ordered boxes will take three to six weeks for completion.
