Great Craftsman!!!!,

I happened upon Hutch's website by accident simply by doing a
search for wooden crosses for my son's baptism. I revisited his site several
times after continuing my search and coming up with nothing of such high quality
and beauty; or made with such care and with very reasonable prices. Also I felt
the crosses on Hutch's site were very tastefully made. I saw a lot of
"junk" out there while searching. I finally decided to order one and
found Hutch to be very responsive and timely. He responded to my emails directly
and immediately. His ordering and payment instructions were very concise and
easy to follow. After receiving my payment via PayPal and mailing my product, he
emailed me to let me know its status. His service was very personable and
responsible - he did what he said he was going to do. He was a very thoughtful
and smart businessman during the whole process - not to mention what a wonderful
craftsman he is. He also included a smaller cross as a "gift" for
ordering his handmade cross. He sells other items as well and I highly recommend
his work. This was a very rewarding purchase.
Handcrafted Wooden Treasures,

I found Hutch’s Hardwood Boxes after a search on the Net
for a handmade wooden box to give my husband for Valentine’s Day. I had
checked out many sites claiming to have “handmade” wooden items but instead
had found mostly mass-produced widely available boxes of no particular
uniqueness. When I found this site, it was exactly what I was looking for. Mr.
Hutchinson is quite a talented woodworker, who specializes in the use of very
fine domestic and exotic hardwoods, such as mahogany, walnut, rosewood, and
zebrawood. His site includes jewelry boxes for both women and men, humidors,
playing card boxes and wooden crosses but, in my opinion, his boxes alone are
worth the trip. Mr. Hutchinson also offers custom boxes, lined or unlined with a
different wood from the top, sides or bottom of the box, and he offers wonderful
options like shelving inside the boxes and solid brass hinges, hidden or
unbidden. His humidors are available with or without hydrometers and
humidifiers, and he also makes necklace boxes which would be perfect for
presenting a gift of jewelry to a loved one. I had planned on custom ordering a
box if I could but his inventory of gorgeous boxes available on this site
quickly changed my mind. The site itself is well done, with pictures that are
quite clear and detailed, and enlarge for an even more detailed view. Each piece
is displayed in more than one view (you see both the inside and outside of each
box), along with the measurements of the box and a detailed description of the
type of wood used in all facets of the box. Mr. Hutchinson offers prompt
reasonably-priced shipping, and also a money back guarantee on boxes purchased
from his inventory. Amazingly, he even offers a site credit on a custom-ordered
box you might choose to return. But, trust me, you won’t be returning anything
you purchased from this site. I ordered a zebrawood box with walnut lining and a
red oak bottom, which was promptly shipped and wonderfully packed, after I
charged my purchase to PayPal. I could not have been more pleased, as the box
was even prettier in person. He coats his finished pieces with micro coats of
polyurethane, too, which is practically invisible to the eye but protects the
gorgeous woods that he uses. I really could not believe the quality of the
woodworking, as the zebrawood was perfectly and seamlessly matched along the
sides of the box – you can tell each piece of wood was carefully selected. You
just get the feeling that the craftsman put a lot of himself in each of these
creations. You owe it to yourself to check out this site. Mr. Hutchinson’s
pieces are by no means inexpensive but are not of line considering the
craftsmanship employed, the fine hardwoods he uses and the quality of his
finished pieces. Yet I feel like I got a bargain – a gorgeous handcrafted fine
wood box that will probably be in our family for generations. I only wish he
made furniture! This site is what most of us wish for when we hunt for something
on the Internet – a true gentleman craftsman offering his gorgeous artwork for
all of us to own via online convenience. The only thing I longed for at this
site is the ability to have even half of Mr. Hutchinson’s talent and artistry.
